Is dark chocolate good for you? Are juices healthy? How safe are GMO foods? How many cups of coffee should I drink in
a day? What should I avoid – fats or sugar? The last 2 decades have seen an incredible
growth in the field of food, health and nutrition. New exciting findings are reported almost
everyday. But you must have noticed that a lot of the
times the information that is put out by media is confusing and sometimes even misleading. The best example is that of chocolate. There are a number of articles that recommend
the consumption of chocolate, and an equal number of articles that do not recommend the
consumption of chocolate. So what then? Does that mean that science is useless? Absolutely not! You know what Albert Einstein once said? ‘Never stop questioning!’ And that’s exactly what we need to do. Always be a little skeptical and build your
body of evidence before you accept anything. Oh wait! I almost forgot to introduce myself. Hello everyone! My name is Nirupama and welcome to SCImplify! Join me in this fascinating journey of unravelling
some of the hidden truths about foods. I am going to bring to you information and
my unbiased views on topics related to food, health and nutrition. So, if you really care about the food you
eat, and want to know more, do SUBSCRIBE to my channel. After all, you are what you eat!
