Diet vs. Exercise for Weight Loss October 19, 2019 36 By Ewald Bahringer CategoryArticles BlogTagsbody fat butter calories chicken exercise obesity poultry sardines weight loss 36 Comments Dreamlife Films says: September 3, 2012 at 4:05 pm what what type of food can i get 5000 calories worth and still not gain weight???!!!!! don't tell it's saturated fat!!! lol Reply La ne says: September 3, 2012 at 6:52 pm No you wouldn't – view Dr G's previous vids on nuts, same applies for fruit. Dietary thermogenisis. I consistently eat a surplus on around 1000 calories per day and have not gained fat (only muscle) over the past 2 years of doing so. Reply La ne says: September 3, 2012 at 6:53 pm I eat up to 7000 calories in a day with fruit – bananas, dates, figs (I have 2 fig trees) and black wine grapes. Yum yum! Reply La ne says: September 3, 2012 at 7:00 pm There are no fat long term fruitarians. Check out 30bananasaday com. It's a community of over 13,000 fruitarians who eat a minimum of 3000 calories per day for women and more for men. In fact their theory is that you should eat in proportion to your body weight, so a 150kg obese person should be eating 5800 calories per day – and the ones who do return to a healthy weight. Reply La ne says: September 3, 2012 at 7:04 pm check out the testimonials page as a first stop Reply guitaress1 says: September 3, 2012 at 9:19 pm I have trouble believing this because I've been consuming an average of 1000 calories a day for the last month and have only lost 4 lbs. When I up my exercise and calorie intake I tend to lose weight much more rapidly and efficiently. For some reason this is difficult for me to do lately…My pursuits and work are quite sedentary and mentally focussed, lately the weather has been exceedingly warm, I'm sun sensitive, other excuses. I better exercise more, I think. Reply Andreas748 says: September 4, 2012 at 1:29 am 5800 calories for a fat person to return to a healty weight? Good luck with that one Reply La ne says: September 4, 2012 at 10:44 am Well there are plenty of people doing it on 30bananasaday com and I consistently eat far too many calories every day and do not gain weight. Not all calories are the same. Fruit calories are slimming. Dead animal calories are fattening. See Dr G's other videos on nuts for an explanation. Reply Andreas748 says: September 4, 2012 at 8:35 pm maybe…….the Perfect Health Diet guy Paul Jamieson? says vegetables have so much fiber you use all the calories during digestion so that must apply to fruit too. Still, 5800 is alot of calories Reply La ne says: September 5, 2012 at 9:23 am This is not the case of fruit. Vegetables, with the exception of culinary starches like potatoes and yams, are indeed very low calorie, but fruits, especially dates and bananas, are extremely high calorie foods. The reason why I can eat 7000 calories in a day from fruit and not get fat VS 2500 calories a day from butter and get fat extremely quickly, is that the calorie in – out model doesn't take into effect other digestive mechanisms such as the others explained by Dr G in his previous vids Reply Paul (Corpus Christi) says: March 21, 2013 at 11:12 pm Hiya, have you experienced Shape X Booster? (look it up on google) You will find out about the serious crimes we commit against ourselves. With Shape X Booster, you will discover how to burn calories quickly. Reply SisterSunshineTV says: June 4, 2013 at 5:50 am it is amazing to me how much physical activity is needed to work off even small amounts of food! It kind of bums me out a little but it is what it is 🙂 Reply SisterSunshineTV says: June 4, 2013 at 5:52 am 1000 cals a day is probably too little and your body then reduces the metabolism to conserve energy. Sometimes eating a bit more is the answer. Reply Stoudamire3 says: July 7, 2013 at 9:35 pm Interessante! Reply Mayuri Dilip says: December 25, 2013 at 3:44 pm I was 106 pounds before adopting vegan diet. now I weigh 95 pounds. and my height is 5.5". Is it ok to reduce weight like this. should I include any foods containing fat? Reply Sheila House says: January 14, 2015 at 6:04 pm I am of the opinion that exercise before breakfast burns fat but my friend's trainer said that exercise before breakfast, or any time without eating, will cause the burning of muscle. So what is the science on that matter? Thanks. Reply joe schmo says: September 5, 2015 at 11:28 am Duh, this is why the energy balance model is establishment propaganda to absolve responsibility for the food companies and put everything squarely on the individual. This is why the fattening carbohydrate disappeared after the second world war. Taubes is right. Noam Chomsky is right. The establishment is the establishment. Mind control is manufactured consent. A free society needs a lot of manufactured consent. That's how the rich and powerful stay rich and powerful. Doctors (like Greger) have naively been working for food company profits. They are more easily duped than people with less education. The purpose of the video was to minimize the importance of exercise. Whether or not a person wants to lose weight, everyone needs to watch what they shove down their throats, and they need to exercise. Thumbs down on the video. Reply Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita says: April 29, 2016 at 3:55 pm Exercise benefits go way beyond burning calories. It helps our body regulste blood sugar, it enhances our mood and helps us control our hunger, amongst other things. Doing more exercise will make it FAR MORE easy to maintain a good diet. The diet, on the other hands, should be seen as a complement to a healthy lifestyle ; it is what will help you sustain your daily exercise. Reply Emmet Marchal says: June 15, 2016 at 7:08 am If you is interested in losing weight the greatest results that ive had was by using the Triple trim formula (i found it on google) without a doubt the most helpful diet i've tried. Reply jaghad says: October 3, 2016 at 9:25 am It is easy to misunderstand these findings. What he's talking about is obesity, and in that respect he's right, but shaping your body is another thing. Obese people eat energy dense food. If they would change their eating habits they'd drop in weight, and that is key, but if you want to build an athletic body you need to train. Reply Kathleen Padilla says: September 19, 2017 at 9:34 pm I discovered about the weight loss plan “sowo hope site” (Google it) by means of googling around for info in the weight-loss sites.
