Golden Milk Recipe | Anti-Inflammatory & Weightloss Latte

Hey everyone I am just about to make a golden milk latte and want to take you along with me I figured I would just film it for you guys, so you guys can see! It’s really really really nutritious It is packed antioxidants and anti-inflammatories So it’s really good if you have eczema or something like that or psoriasis And it’s just really nutritious and healthy and really nice and warming on a cold winter day. So although it is spring now It’s still a little bit chilly! So anyways, I like to drink this at least three to four times a week. One thing I want to add is that I would normally add 1 scoop of a vital proteins gelatin to this and then after the whole mixture Here is heated through. I will throw it in the blender. However, I don’t have any more on me I have to buy more, so I won’t be doing that today. But what happens is when you add the gelatin and then put it in a blender It makes a really frothy more like a latte so you get a lot of the foam. That’s normally what I will do on top of this. So I will show you the ingredients And then I will show you the steps. So here are the ingredients I will use for the golden milk. I have a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, and you can use any Proportions you like! This is just what I like. So a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, half a teaspoon of turmeric (organic pure turmeric powder), Here is a dash of black pepper. I know it sounds weird but black pepper helps you absorb all the nutrients from all of these ingredients, and also, Just want to mention turmeric the reason why this golden milk is so delicious and healthy for you is because turmeric is an amazing Anti-inflammatory and also packed with antioxidants so really helpful for not only weight loss, But just for getting rid of inflammation, and helping your gut. Cinnamon is also warming So this is good to get rid of Candida yeast if you have a yeast infection Too much sugar in the body feeds yeast, cinnamon is a warming so it helps get rid of yeast. I have half a tablespoon of coconut oil. This also helps absorb all the nutrients and it adds a delicious flavor ,and just a little piece of Ginger, obviously don’t eat this, but I let it steep in the actual golden milk. I will use a cup of organic almond milk, but usually I actually like to use coconut milk Which I don’t have so almond milk will just do for today And I use probably about half a teaspoon to one teaspoon of maple syrup I really don’t need it that sweet, but if you like a sweeter You can definitely add more or you can use honey if you don’t have maple syrup. Even coconut sugar probably would work really well too. This is what I have and basically, I will just add everything to a saucepan on the stove and Kind of just whisk it all together until it’s heated through. I will show you the steps for that I will add the milk sorry you can’t see my head, but I will add the milk to the saucepan I don’t really measure, but I know what about a cup looks like And at this point I like to add in the maple syrup as well And you don’t need to add sweetener at all if you don’t like it, or don’t want it, I should say And then I had the ingredients here on the plate. I just start adding everything into the pot. It’s very straightforward, and then you just whisk it all together. And then just mix everything and I’ll show you what it looks like as it comes together. Okay, so this is what it looks like, it’s just starting to warm up, so I just whisk it all together You see all that Just whisk it to combine it all Okay, so I’m just gonna bring you in. This is what it’s looking like and, like I said, if you had added The vital proteins gelatin, not only is it awesome for gut health, But it also would make this so much frothier that it would be a lot more of a latte texture. But I really don’t mind it like this anyways! and Once it’s heated through. It’s ready to drink, and I usually would just take the piece of ginger out, or just leave it in the drink, but obviously just not eat it, but you definitely can if you want to haha! So I just took it off the stove and poured it in this mug and that made a pretty decent sized mug and this is What it looks like! It’s not as yellow as it should be because of all the cinnamon, but it still tastes absolutely delicious And I cannot wait to dig in!
