HOW I LOST THE WEIGHT
Hey guys, welcome to another YouTube video. For those of you doesn’t know me, My name is Raphaelle Zoe and welcome to my channel For today’s video I’d be showing you guys what I eat in a day So I’ll be taking you guys into my kitchen. a couple of years ago I decided to lose some weight because I was really eating unhealthy I wasn’t happy with my food choices and with how I looked That’s why I decided to start losing weight. I have tried a lot of diet. Like I’ve tried meal replacement shakes, keto diet and intermittent fasting as well. But it just does not suit me because of work and how I would like my lifestyle to be. I do not like getting hungry. So if you are someone like me then this diet is for you. It’s breakfast time! I for one, are not used to eating breakfast. So my first breakfast is coffee. Then, if I get hungry then that’s the time I’ll eat. It’s my typical breakfast. It’s called smashed avocado What we need are: one piece of toast. This one’s a sourdough helga, you can use a whole meal or whatever you want hot chilli flakes salt and pepper one egg half of a lemon and Half of an avocado and also a 1 garlic clove Let’s start Now it’ll look something like that That’s it guys I’m ready to go to the gym. If you’re curious as to what I do at the gym I do weight training. I did a whole lot of video for that and I did it with my personal trainer You guys want to see what my workout day looks like Please don’t forget to check it out. When I get back we’ll have lunch. I can’t wait I will be making zucchini soup and tuna sandwich with spinach. for the zucchini soup what we’re gonna need zucchini Vegetable stock Some spinach and Garlic and onion. sour cream I’ve tried leaving this one out if you want to lessen your Calorie intake then you could just leave this one out and it will still taste good. But of course it’s better with the sour cream Okay, so normally I would just estimate the amount of vegetable stock. But for the purposes of this video, I will measure it. Measure it so you guys know how much So that’s one cup one and a half for that one in zucchini What I’m gonna do is I’m gonna heat it up and then when the zucchini is cooked we’ll put it in the blender We’re ready to go! What I’ve got here is some green zucchini soup some thin bread and I layered it with spinach and tuna some bean sprouts That’s it for my lunch. Okay, so it’s already 6:20 and I’m ready to cook my dinner. This one’s brown rice. It’s called low GI so it’s meant to get digested in your gut easier than a normal brown rice or a normal rice. Some broccoli florets and salmon. This video is a bit tricky because I feel like I’ve just been cooking For the whole day like preparing and cooking but in reality It’s not actually as bad. We’ll cook the rice based on the instruction at the back. You can use whatever brown rice you want I just happen to have this in my pantry and this is what I’ve been having. Salmon, I’ll just season it with salt pepper and garlic powder but feel free to Put all the spices that you want on it. I want to talk a little bit about portioning. This meal right here, I think, is a really good portion. It contains all your macronutrients. macronutrients are all your carbohydrates or protein and your Fats healthy carbohydrates that’s your brown rice and then protein from your broccoli and from your Salmon, then fat from salmon and you know all the oils that you put in there. Just be mindful about portioning your meals. And that’s it Bon Appetit. So I just had dinner an hour ago, but I feel like there’s something missing. Because I haven’t had sweets. If you feel me, I’ve got such a really sweet tooth HA! It’s hard to say but we’ll give in to our craving. never starve yourself never deprive yourself if you are craving so so hard then I think just savour it because you only live once I’ll show you guys what I do I will be having tea and some dark chocolate So let’s go This one’s the chamomile tea from Tetley I chose this one because it improves your sleep as well. So have a good night sleep now that I have my tea and my dark chocolate I’m ready to end this video and my day. And consult your dietitian if you’re starting a new diet This one really worked for me. I lost a total of 22 kilos So I started two years ago And I was 75 kilos and then I was really struggling to lose weight. So I tried all sorts of stuff I realised that the only thing that will help me lose and maintain your weight, is if you change your lifestyle. If you choose healthier options and like slowly, but surely Decrease all the unhealthy foods that you eat then that’s the only time you lose weight If you’re hungry then it is your body telling you that you need to eat. Make sure you’re making the right food choices Make sure that you always take a take a step forward Even if it’s just a baby step still take it. Most importantly, DON’T LOSE HOPE. because You can make it! Also be lenient because you’re gonna go on holidays You want to enjoy your holidays and you have to enjoy yourself. Enjoy your friends. Enjoy your company. So yeah That’s it.
