Good day backyard hobbyist It’s a rainy day today to all our subscribers affected by heady rain fall take care always and don’t go outside if not necessary because of the bad weather this day and this fast few weeks but in in spite of bad weather today I have something to share with you and it is a new breeding technique so please stay tune because this is very interesting topic ok guys so lets move on in out topic for today what we are going to talk about today is how to breed gourami these gourami’s are very beautiful in our aquarium because of its attractive colors they have different strain and different colors although they are not familiar with other because they are hard to breed and lack of video tutorials in how the proper way to breed and how we can success in breeding these gourami so today all of us can learn and have a success in breeding these king of gourami Guys these are my breeder of dwarf gourami and about how to gender this kind of gourami we can easily notice that the male has a bright color unlike female which has bare color to determine how they are ready to breed we can check it in female as you can see my female has a bulgy tummy it means that she has many eggs right now and she is now ready to breed and you can also see the color of female, she will have stripe red on her body it means that she is ready to mate with the male and for the male as you can see his color will become more darker so it means that they are ready to breed as we can see in here the female already spawned her eggs on this stage I need to remove the breeders because it is possible that they will eat the eggs since the eggs are fertile it is now safe to remove the breeders I am going to get the breeders before I will show you their eggs let us check what the eggs looks like and why i say that the eggs are fertile as you can notice guys the eggs are all floating as you can see here the eggs have eye already and this is an indication that the eggs are all healthy and they are all fertilized by male sperm and they are starting to develop to become fry I think within two to three days they are going to hatch and also as you can notice the eggs of gourami are floating they are not falling on the ground as you can notice there’s no eggs at the ground and all of the eggs are floating thats why the there is a big chance of hatch rate because they will not run our of oxygen and I also provided fresh plant at least there’s oxygen in this breeding tank we cannot provide aerator to this setup since the eggs are floating if we provided aerator to them the eggs will go on the aerator and will circulate on bubbles and possible that the eggs will die and will not hatch that’s why we need to have a stagnant water and allow the eggs to float and on this guys I will update you after two to three days we will return in here so that we can see if the eggs will hatch or not so that we can know that if we have a success in this kind of breeding project of dwarf gourami and so now as you can notice the eggs are already fry the tiny swimmers are the fry of dwarf red gourami they are plenty and estimated about I think three hundred plus or even more I think tomorrow they are ready to east If you will ask what is the first food for them? we will document again their first food and I will prepare their first food guys they are three days already as you can see their sizes they are already grown their sizes are good right now and if they are free swimmers you can gave them baby brine shrimp as you can notice they are plenty in here I think they are five hundred plus of fry in here and they are one batch and I used one pair only I don’t have baby brine shrimp today so what I am going to do is I will show to you the foods that I gave to them from the day they are hatched so I will prepare their the foods I made and I will share the food I gave to them from the day they are hatched up to they are starting to grow and aside from baby brine shrimp I have prepare for them other food that is easy to prepare and more accessible to everyone this is the green water I harvest this is similar to the foods I gave to my fry of danio but we will do some twist since the fry are plenty they need a good source of protein and vitamins what I am going to do as you can see here I have super grow of angel’s drop I will drop these vitamins you can saw the dosage in the label ten to twenty drops per gallon and these are 1 gallon to 2 gallons I think 30 drops is good enough this is ok it has vitamins came from super grow then the next ingredient is this one I have here spirulina powder I will just get small amount the water will become more green as you can see the water is getting more green this is not yet done we have more ingredients so that they can have a good growth lets add some pellets since I don’t have diy pellets we will use this wachupong powder pellets just add small amount this amount is ok so what I am going to do is I will sink for about 30 minutes or maybe about five to ten minutes only since the ingredients are powder so it will dissolve more faster because it is important to dissolve the ingredients into green water so that this will become more fine and the fry can able to eat we will get back after 10 minutes then these have more big particles we need to remove them so that the water will not pollute we need to drain it so this is our finished product
