How to make corn and cashew tortillas or arepas you can freeze
Hi! I’m Pachi the Colombian Cook! and today,
we’re gonna make some Corn and Cashew Arepas. Ok now we’re gonna make corn and cashew arepas.
So we are gonna start by adding a mixture of both. Ok, now we’re gonna take the mixture of corn
and cashews that we have mixed and we’re gonna make a ball we can divide the whole… masa into small balls or do one at a time. Im gonna do one at a time for kinds purposes
and we’re gonna put a plastic bag on top and then a heavy pot so that they get very very
thin afterwards, we’re gonna cut the size you want so I think I might want this size
and after cutting them, this goes back so we don’t waste anything into the next arepas. No problem, let’s start our second. we’re gonna put the arepas in some olive oil brushed foil Here comes the second one Let’s cut it in the same size all of our arepas the same size and I think this is a great size for serving
and if you want more you can have two or how many else you want to have. Now let me present you with some beautiful
corn arepas these are the ones that we just made and they look amazing. Ok so here we have our corn arepas with cashews.
We’re gonna add some cheese. White farmers cheese to this one and the brown rice arepas
with pistachios and flux. Sometimes this cheese is very delicate and
it breaks. Half a slice to each of our arepas Let’s try it right now. Mmmm! These are delicious, crispy, full of
flavor and they don’t have any salt. so you can have a little bit extra salt to them. My pistachios were salty so I don’t have to
add any extra salt. This and this cheese are normally very very salty
