I mean you could guess but you never know exactly Reply Smörhunden says: August 22, 2016 at 2:03 pm Man you're heavier than I thought Reply Dave86 says: September 14, 2016 at 8:38 pm Another great video Radu, How did you come to the calculation of 33cal/kgs of body weight for maintenance? It looks right i've just never seen it calculated that way before. Reply Mira says: September 17, 2016 at 10:15 am Radu, I'm 90 KG and according to your formula my maintenance calorie is almost 3000. But I use a fitbit activity tracking based on heart-rate monitor and according to that I burn at most 2500 calories per day. Can we say that my metabolism is low ? and should I go based on the fitbit calorie burn ? Reply christian anguiano says: September 29, 2016 at 8:03 am Does your cutting cals change during those 10 weeks or do you keep them the same? Reply hawa kabir says: October 17, 2016 at 2:51 am This video has great advice, but I am not sure about the best diet plan that I should work with, only because I have never taken any. Anybody tried using the Fenoboci Diet Plan? I've heard some folks mention amazing things about Fenoboci Diet Plan. Reply glenn says: October 23, 2016 at 8:10 pm I have a question, according to that my maintenance would be around 1890 calories leacing me at 1560 for getting lean. This seems stupidly low to me Reply Alexis HT says: October 30, 2016 at 11:03 pm Radu, I workout 6 times per week (3 heavy days and 3 lighter days) and also I'm a construction worker, I calculated a 20% deficit with your formula (68 × 33 × 0.8 = 1795 cal), isn't that a bit low for me? I have almost 10 hours of activity per day and that number is just slightly above my BMI (I'm 21 and 1'71m) which is around 1600 calories I think. I don't want to get to 61 kg again (I lost weight from 105 kg, you know,I was massive ) but I'm around 18% bf at 68 kg, not a big guy nor lean enough for a bulk. What do you think? F.e. if you had 10% body fat at weight 60kg, your target calories to reach that weight would be 60*33 = 1980Kcal, protein then 60*2g = 120g protein Reply Julio Gomez says: February 5, 2017 at 12:33 am Do I use my total body weight or my lean body weight for my macros? 'cause so far i see decent result on strenght and muscles but my belly…well its still there. thx in advance keep doin your awesome job. Reply Lil Aussie says: February 24, 2017 at 1:04 am Hi Radu, I am 162 cm in hght and weigh 85kg. (Approx 30% body fat) I used you calculation and my maintenance is 2805 cal and the deficit is 2300 cal. You also say the deficit should be 200 – 400 in deficit. I have been using my fitness pal to log my calories but it has set my daily cals at 1570cals to lose 1kg a week. which is really low. When I workout or do a bit of cardio (walking only) it increases my daily cals a bit. Which cals target do I aim for? Your calculation or the mfp calculation. And do I eat the star cals it adds after a workout. I'm trying to keep my caloric intake very low when I don't workout, and if I know I will, then I will get a bit more in. I am skinny fat and I want to have a very lean and toned body. Reply jan Kiss says: June 20, 2017 at 12:59 am how did you get 0.8??? I started by just eating 6 times a day, clean foods, right macros, to satiety, but then counted the cals and found I was eating only 1400. I hoped them to 2500, and didn't gain a single pound for a week. I ask because according to your formula, my MAITENCE calories are at LEAST /3600/, and I work as an air conditioning service tech crawling around attics and carrying 50lb Freon bottles all day, so its probably even HIGHER. I'm not eating ENOUGH? It's worth noting I'm a 6'4 238lb skinny fat around 20% body fat. Advice? Reply MoH Rocks says: May 28, 2018 at 3:34 am Why do I multiply my weight by 15??? Why the number 15?
