How to Teach Kid’s Nutrition : Physical Activities for Kids

Hi, I’m Pam on behalf of Expert Village and
today we’re going to talk about eating healthy and physical activity in four and five year
olds. Okay, now we’re going to talk about physical activity. Like we said before, the
pyramid has added a set of stairs to remind us that we need to be physically active everyday.
Children love the outdoors. Fitness levels are actually directly related to the amount
of time spent outside. Now, outdoor enhances physical development such as balance, strength,
cardiovascular endurance, and regular activity helps promote healthy weight, muscular strength,
healthy lungs, strong bones, things like that. Now you are the best way to motivate your
child. If your kid comes home and he sees you sitting on the couch watching TV, he wants
to hang out with mom since you’ve been at work all day. Now if you like to play basketball,
maybe you like to play football, doesn’t matter, what matters is that you’re getting up and
doing something. Your kid is going to imitate you. Have you ever heard a kid repeat what
you say? They do that with your actions also. And that sums up getting physically fit part
one.
