Interactive Human | Digestive System
Hey guys! Today’s video is a little different. Today we are doing the Digestive System So, first we select a food we want to eat Beans, ice cream, fish, cake, and an apple Let’s start with beans So, the mouth chews the food (with teeth) into small pieces small enough to swallow Then the saliva breaks up starch and sends the rest down the gullet Bye bye! Down the Esophagus and to the Stomach The Stomach mixes Juices from the Pancreas and other organs with the food Then the juices break up Protein And then, the food goes in the Duodenum to the next stage! The Duodenum itself The food here gets most of the things in the food broken up by juices I’ll tell you why it breaks down things in a second Bile breaks fat particles down, and fat enzymes finish it off And to the small intestines (Ileum) The reason the things were broken down is so Villi can suck it up and bring it around the body, as energy Om nom nom, Villi Then, all that’s left is a bunch of water And the digested food Then that goes to the Large Intestines (Colon) That little thing at the end of the Colon is from Evolution, the food must avoid all contact… If it does, it needs to be removed (The thing at the end does) (You can’t see my mouse either) WOOPS! I’ll show you the Colon later Finally, the Anus, which removes the undigestible wastes Bye bye, food Let’s eat again! Poor anus Let’s eat…. an apple! So, it’s really the same for all of the foods, except some don’t have fat or protein, so there isn’t as much to break down If you can’t read it in time, just pause the video By the way, I have a quiz for you I want you to answer in the comments What is ONE organ that can put digestive juices in the stomach to break down food? (I said this in the video) If at least 10 people get it correct, I’ll do one on any of your choice (Must be Interactive Human) Deal? Here’s an example for what I said earlier, the apple only has Starch, it doesn’t have any Fat or Protein Read this one By the way (fun fact) If you have Celiac (I do), then when a Villi reaches contact with any Wheat or Gluten Grain, it can kill Vili. But after a while, they grow back. Though, that means that Wheat or Gluten grain is still in the waste, which causes Diarrhea. Sorry, I’m just letting you know. Alrighty, HERE is the Colon The Colon removes most water from the waste, and about 4-5 “cartoon” water drops would remain And… that’s what makes left overs able to get through the Anus Without… getting stuck And now the Anus is worried again Now I’ll just show you a quicker version of how the food gets around, then an “In-game” discription of each part (Trust me, it doesn’t legit go through the digestive system this quick, it can take to up to a whole day!) And, now the descriptions. Excuse me, that long tube is NOT part of the mouth, it’s part of it’s own thing, THE ESOPHAGUS! (Pause the video if you need time to read) (My human body motto: They say “EWW that’s so gross” Well… I say… “It’s what’s inside of you!”) By the way, The Rectum is the legit 6th stop, it’s on the way to the real Anus. So guys, that is it for today. If you enjoyed please leave everything appreciated! BBBBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYE!
