Is Goat Milk OK On The Candida Diet?

Greetings, Eric Bakker from all the way from
New Zealand, the naturopath from down under. Thank you for checking out my video and also
for looking at the YouTube channel Candida Crusher. I have a question here from a subscriber,
Gilberto Espinoza. And Gilberto is asking a question, “Hi Eric,
I’ve watched many of your videos and have not heard you say anything about goat milk. Do you think consuming raw goat milk is fine
in the Candida diet. And if it is at which stage or phase? Thank you so much in advance.” Gilberto, sounds like a Spanish name. Maybe you play Spanish guitar. Gilberto, could be a lady. You don’t know these days. So goat milk is excellent milk to have on
the Candida diet. It is important to know that goat is not like
the cow. The ability for goat milk to provoke or stimulate
allergies in the body is not really an issue because cow’s milk contains lactose, like
most milks do, which isn’t really the problem in those cases, but some people have a problem
with lactase. They don’t have the enzyme in their body to
break lactose down which can cause bloating and farting and diarrhea especially. We call that lactose intolerance. It’s not an allergy, you just don’t have enough
lactase to break the milk down. Now, the other issue we face with cow’s milk
is the protein called beta-casein A1. Now that particular protein stimulates antibody
production in the human body and that’s a milk allergy. Now, milk is one of the most allergic of all
things you can take into your body. So, you can get A2 milk, but when you start
fiddling with foods with proteins, you start modifying them, I don’t really believe it’s
good idea to drink them at all. Goat milk, however, doesn’t contain A1 it
contains A2 casein. So it’s basically not allergy forming and
goat milk’s, in fact, one of the closest things to human milk in how it is made. So it’s incredibly good for humans to have. It’s got a lot of good fats in it, it’s got
a lot of Vitamin E in it. It’s got this stuff called alpha hydroxy acid
in it, which is a type of lactic acid, so it’s a prebiotic. So sheep’s milk and goat milk are excellent
to have on the Candida diet because they actually encourage the production of lactobacillus
in the small intestine through their ability to do that, through the constituents. They’ve got good mineral and fat levels in
them and they’re low allergy forming. So they’re a great milk to have and I recommend
you put them in usually right from the beginning. So you can actually take cow’s milk out and
put the sheep or goat milk in right there and then. Camel’s milk is also good, but I hear it’s
a bit high in fat just like buffalo milk, but goat’s milk’s one of the best. So you can also have goat cheese, feta cheese
is quite nice from the goat and you can also make yogurt from goat or sheep milk so that’s
also possible. So you could take goat milk right from the
beginning Gilberto, not a problem at all. So I hope that answers your question. Thanks for puttying the question to me.
