– Well alright folks, let’s continue the conversation and talk about magnesium. Today, we’re gonna focus
on your daily value, the percentages that
you get into your diet. Let’s talk about that right now. It’s Nutri-Coach X saving the day with nutrition, health,
and wellness for all. (heroic music) Okay guys, Nutri-Coach X here. And yesterday we were
talking about magnesium, I told you about plenty of sources. Now we’re going to continue
the conversation and talk, and I’m talking to you today
about your daily values. So, yesterday we were mentioning almonds, if you had one ounce
of dry roasted almonds, that would give you, yield
about 80 milligrams per serving, and that equates to 20%
of your daily value. Moving on to a half cup boiled spinach, that will give you about 78 milligrams, and that’s another 20%
of your daily value. Cashews, one ounce of dry
roasted cashews yields about 74 milligrams, that’s about 19% of your daily value. Moving on to peanuts, roasted, a quarter cup roasted
peanuts, 63 milligrams, and that’s about 16% of your daily value. The shredded wheat that we
talked about, two large biscuits, 61 milligrams, that’s gonna give you about 15% of your daily value. Alright, moving on to soy
milk, plain, vanilla, one cup, 61 milligrams per serving, 15% of your daily value. Black beans, half cup cooked, 60 milligrams, another 15% daily value. Edamame, shelled, half cup cooked, 50 milligrams per serving, 15%. So we talked about edamame. Peanut butter, the smooth, two
tablespoons of peanut butter, 49 milligrams per serving,
it’s gonna give you about 12% of your daily value. Whole wheat, two slices
of whole wheat bread, 46 milligrams, about 12%. Avocados, cubed, one cup, 44 milligrams per serving, and that’s about 11% of your daily value. And let’s move on to
baked potato with skin, 3.5 ounces will give you 43 milligrams per serving, 11% of your daily value. Alright, brown rice cooked, a half cup, 42 milligrams, 11% again. The yogurt, plain, eight ounces, low fat, 42 milligrams, 11%. And then moving on to the
last is breakfast cereal, fortified with 10% of your daily value, obviously, you’re gonna get 10%, it’s gonna yield about 40
milligrams per serving. So, there you have it, folks. Talked to you today
about your daily value, the percentage that you’ll get if you add those foods into your diet. So, if you need any help,
maybe you should schedule a health history with me, and we can talk about these things, what’s on your plate, what’s not on your plate in the way of relationships, your
career, your spirituality. We can cover all those things because I believe the whole person needs to be taken care of, not just one spoke of the wheel, if you know what I mean. I’m Xavier Smith, AKA Nutri-Coach X, and I believe in nutrition,
health, and wellness for all. So let me know if you
need any help with that. I’ll see you next time. (ethereal music)
