Nutrition for New Mums – Mum Must Look After Herself – Diet Tips ❤️

Hi, my name’s Christian Bates. I’m an osteopath and a naturopath and baby expert at The Perrymount Clinic in Haywards Heath, and I want to give you one of my baby top tips today. Today’s tip is on nutrition for new mums. When a mum brings her baby in, part of my treatment
is also always asking the mum how she’s eating, because the mum must look after
herself because she’s very tired and looking after a new baby. It’s really often that she neglects her own health. I found that new mums’ diets are very,
very poor, and what’s really common is that they’re eating cereal and toast and
sandwiches and pasta, and it’s amazing how many months they’ve been eating cereal for dinner as well. So, the biggest tip is that mums tend to overdo carbohydrates,
in particular wheat-based products. So, here’s my tip – try and cut down on the
wheat-based products; cook a bit better for yourself; and increase your protein
from meats and eggs. If you’ve enjoyed this tip, go to www.babyexpert.com where you can download this free PDF I’ve written. It’s jam-packed full of ideas on how to
help your baby and calm them and make them happy. If you live local to Haywards Heath, then you can come in and see me for a treatment. I hope you enjoyed the
tip, and I’ll see you soon!
