Reply NutritionFacts.org says: March 10, 2012 at 4:43 pm It'd be wonderful if you could post it to this specific video on nutritionfacts. org. This way more people benefit from the response, and I can actually provide you with links (which I can't do on Youtube). Thanks! Where is Fuji my favorite? and the study stated skin tested. How many people realize that from just listening. that is not mentioned. Many people avoid the skin. Reply Zero Carb Queen says: January 8, 2014 at 5:08 pm Granny Smiths are my favorite! I can eat ten in a sitting. MMMM. Reply izwabbit says: January 28, 2014 at 3:00 am not really "which one is the bad apple" cuz it still has anti oxidants Dr. 😀 but i love fuji, i dont see any organic red apples here,, Reply Lily_Rose says: November 21, 2014 at 6:24 am My apple of choice, Gala, didn't rank so high, but how about my 2nd favorite, the Pink Lady? Yum! Reply Sally Bella says: February 3, 2015 at 1:09 pm But any Apple is healthier than any potato chip or candy bar, piece of bread. Reply Sally Bella says: February 3, 2015 at 1:14 pm But really, any Apple is more healthy than lots of other foods. So I see us getting overly obsessive about food choices. Any Apple over potato chips, crackers, cereal would be best unless you needed a dense calorie boost more than antioxidants at the moment. It's all relative to what you just ate and what you are planning to eat after. Reply Lady Love says: September 26, 2015 at 4:19 pm Still no Pink Lady!!! Tho I shall try others at top of list 🙂 No sure any could compare tho x Reply A A says: June 24, 2016 at 3:04 pm Crab apples kill Cancer. They are loaded with B17 Reply luvbotany says: October 12, 2016 at 3:32 am honeycrisp is the winner for me Reply entropyhappens says: February 7, 2017 at 8:13 pm I like braeburn. Reply Grisha Krivchenia says: February 9, 2017 at 3:40 pm It is true that you cannot buy crabapples in the grocery store (yet). However, some varieties are exceedingly delicious. And they can usually be picked for free. My neighbor has a crabapple tree with tasty, cold-hardy fruit. I enjoy its nutritious and tangy flesh (tastes like a cross between tamarind and Rosehip) from November through early March! Go for number one! 🙂 Reply Vince says: April 27, 2017 at 2:56 pm There is a another factor that I wonder was considered in that study. Apples sold in your typical grocery store could be up to 1 year old. When harvested, they are sprayed with something that prevents them from releasing some kind of gas that makes they ripen, and then they are stored in a cold place. When you buy them, who knows how old they are and how much nutrients have been lost as a result. Reply Chickenless Nuggets says: May 16, 2017 at 2:26 am Yes honey crisp is up there! I'm eating one now Reply OK Computer says: September 12, 2017 at 4:21 pm Pink Lady? Reply Nero Wolfe says: September 17, 2017 at 9:38 pm I'm not going to avoid better tasting, higher quality apples simply because they have a marginally lower concentration of antioxidants. Beyond being good for you, what our food tastes like is still important. All the apples at the top are mealy and taste wretched. Reply Guersom Falcon says: November 11, 2017 at 4:00 am i mainly eat Anna Apples, i wonder how much antioxidants they have Reply Risa Fey says: November 20, 2017 at 4:24 pm Ambrosia apple <3 <3 <3 Reply cool breeze says: December 10, 2017 at 2:40 am I get honey crisp from the local farmers market and it’s prettty high up there.
